OpenVMS systems do not support the ability to install from media that spans two or more DVDs. Therefore, SAS® 9.2 for OpenVMS for HP Integrity (VMI) cannot be installed directly from DVD or by creating a Software Depot.

Problems have also been reported with attempting to save a depot from DVD to another operating system, such as Windows or UNIX, and then ftp'ing or copying the depot to an OpenVMS for HP Integrity server.

If you have received DVDs for SAS 9.2 on OpenVMS for HP Integrity, please contact SAS Technical Support and request a replacement order via Electronic Software Download.

There are no plans to support installing via media for future releases of SAS on OpenVMS for HP Integrity.
