Problem Note 37159: TERMSTR does not work correctly prior to SAS 9.2

DetailsAboutRate It

The TERMSTR option on the FILENAME/INFILE statement was first documented in SAS 9.1.

However, it did not work correctly until SAS 9.2.

Regardless of the setting of TERMSTR on any platform, the default for that platform is used to read the file specified.

CRLF (Carriage Return Line Feed) for PC platforms

LF (Line Feed) for UNIX platforms.

The default functionality cannot be overridden prior to SAS 9.2.
