Problem Note 36519: LIBGEN=YES generated librefs not supplying all credentials for SASĀ® Scalable Performance Data Server
If you specify LIBGEN=YES on a SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server LIBNAME statement, and then that libref is generated for PROC SQL, it is only providing the domain name (DBQ) for the generated libref. Because the username and password of the generated libref are not included, it is inheriting this information from the explicit SQL LIBNAME connection.
This causes problems because any tables accessed or created in the generated libref will use the ACLs of the explicit connection userid rather than the userid of the original libref with LIBGEN=YES in effect.
The librefs with LIBGEN=YES in effect for PROC SQL must include the username and password of the original libref to ensure correct behavior. In addition, you should include the server and host. If you do not include the server and the host, they will be inherited from the explicit connection.
