Problem Note 35790: Program halt in _setAttributeValue method when using localized SASĀ® 9.4
When attempting to set attribute values for your Frame controls using dot notation in your SCL program, you could receive an error like the following:
Note: For the purpose of this SAS Note, this message has been translated into English. However, you might see a localized version of the message.
ERROR: The specified value for "enabled" attribute is not valid.
Specify another value.
Parameters passed to method _SETATTRIBUTEVALUE:
1 (alfanumeric string) = 'enabled'
2 (alfanumeric string) = 'Yes'
Program halted prematurely at line 12
Program AF: LIB.CAT.ENTRYNAME.FRAME
The error occurs because the attribute's value (either "Yes" or "No") is being incorrectly translated in the SAS message files to match the current locale. However, the attribute's value should remain in English regardless of the locale.
This error has been reported for both the Spanish and German localizations of SAS, and has been reported for both the "Enabled" attribute and the "Editable" attribute.
