Problem Note 35369: Poor performance with SAS® BI Dashboard when many indicators access a single information map

You might experience poor performance when rendering a Dashboard portlet that includes many indicators that all access the same information map. In addition, the performance can be much worse if the information map is complex and if the information map references a table that has many columns.
To ensure the best performance, the information map should reference only those columns that are required for the dashboard. Another recommendation is to use a single data model in order to generate multiple dials on an indicator.
