Usage Note 35088: The error "NO JAVA EXECUTABLE COULD BE FOUND IN ANY CONFIGURED LOCATION" occurs when you are using the SAS® Migration Utility
The SAS Migration Utility must be run on every machine that is running SAS
® 9.1.3 SP4 Intelligence Platform, and it requires that the same Java Runtime Environment (JRE) be installed. If a valid version of the JRE is not found, the following error is generated:
NO JAVA EXECUTABLE COULD BE FOUND IN ANY CONFIGURED LOCATION
The appropriate version of the JRE is documented in
Third Party Software for SAS® 9.1.3 Foundation with Service Pack 4.
The same error message occurs with SAS® 9.2 and SAS® 9.3.
The appropriate version of the JRE for SAS 9.2 is documented in
SAS® 9.2 (TS2M3) Support for Java Runtime Environments.
Note: For SAS 9.2 in the Windows 7 environment, the regular installation requires that the 1.6.0_14 JRE be installed. However, the SAS Migration Utility needs JRE version 1.5.0_12 to run. This can be downloaded from the above link as well.
The appropriate version of the JRE for SAS 9.3 is documented in
SAS® 9.3 Support for Java Runtime Environments.
