Problem Note 34430: The RMPURGDM macro fails when values of STAGE or AGG are specified in the whichTables parameter
The RMPURGDM macro (which is available starting in hot fix 311IS04) will fail if you override the whichTables parameter with the value of "STAGE" or "AGG". You will see the following error message:
ERROR: The whichTables parameter must be set
to: ALL, STAGE, or AGG
There is no fix for this issue at this time.
The macro RMPURGDM in SAS® IT Resource Management is available with hot fix 311IS04, and can be used by SAS IT Resource Management installations that have implemented this hot fix. This macro will only work for IT data marts that are created with the Adapter Setup Wizard. For a detailed description of the functionality of this macro, review the comments inside the macro.
By default, the RMPURGDM macro has the parameter "whichTables= ALL", which will do the following:
- Attempt to find all the Staged and Aggregation tables in a given IT Resource Management data mart
- Delete all the records from each table
- Clear the aging information for the aggregation tables
