Problem Note 32488: SAS® Marketing Automation campaigns fail and an out-of-memory error occurs when you execute many complex campaigns in a 24-hour period
When you execute many complex campaigns during the same 24-hour period, SAS Marketing Automation might eventually fail with an out-of-memory error in the macore log.
The task-sequence infrastructure in SAS Marketing Automation Application Server does not immediately drop objects held in memory that are no longer needed when the task sequence is complete. These objects are cleared out by the system 24 hours later. However, this delay enables the objects to build up when many complex campaigns are run during that period. Eventually, the SAS Marketing Automation core runs out of memory.
This problem is unlikely to occur unless you are running hundreds of complex campaigns and communications in a short time period.
You can avoid this problem by limiting the number of complex campaigns that you execute in a 24-hour period.
