Installation Note 31559: Where to find SAS® 9.2 information and documentation

The SAS 9.2 installation and configuration documentation are available from the Install Center.
SAS 9.2 software is available for distribution via the Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) system. With the installation materials that are available via ESD, you can download your SAS software from the Internet instead of receiving it via physical media. This is one of the ways that SAS participates in the Green Initiative.
SAS 9.2 TS1M0 was released in March 2008.
SAS 9.2 TS2M0 was released in February 2009.
Maintenance release 2 of SAS 9.2 (TS2M2) was released in September 2009.
Maintenance release 3 of SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) release in May 2010. Please note that Phase 3 will have several solutions and offerings that will be released over a series of months. Always reference the main Maintenance documentation for the latest information.

With the TS2M3 release, there are several revisions of SAS software for which new products are introduced. A revision is a subset of a major release. An example of a revision is 09w28. This revision was made available during week 28 of year 2009 (see SAS Note 35627: "Determining your SAS® 9.2 release" for more details). Additional products and solutions that use the SAS server and middle-tier components are being released on an ongoing basis.
