Problem Note 30991: Disk space is being used up because scheduled campaign and diagram exports do not always delete their underlying temporary tables in MATABLES

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When executing campaigns and diagrams, SAS® Marketing Automation sometimes needs to create work tables in order to process efficiently. These table are stored in SAS® datasets (or SPDS tables if the main data database is SPDS) in a library named MATABLES.

These tables should be deleted automatically by the system once they are no longer required. Sometimes, however, this deletion does not occur, which causes the number of temporary tables in MATABLES to grow and use up disk space.

A workaround for this issue is to monitor the MATABLES workspace and delete any "wide" tables which remain after exports have been run. A wide table is a table holding the actual export data rather than a traditional MATABLES table, which has only one variable and holds a list of subjects.
