Usage Note 20976: An error might occur when you perform concurrent uploads to DB2 partitioned databases

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
When you perform concurrent uploads to DB2 databases using the option
BULKLOAD=YES with the option BL_METHOD=CLILOAD, you might get the
following error message:

SQL6555N The load utility encountered an unexpected communications
           error.

You might need additional ports to perform the concurrent uploads. The
provided hot fix enables you to specify the port range that the software
will use in the CLI LOAD interface. You define the range with the new
options BL_PORT_MIN= and BL_PORT_MAX=, which are in the hot fix. This
port range corresponds with the piPortmin and piPortMax member of the
piPortRange structure that SAS/ACCESS Interface to DB2 passes to DB2.
For more information on the piPortRange structure, see the DB2 Data
Movement Utilities Guide and Reference that is available from IBM.

Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

ATTENTION: This hot Fix is intended for Unix and Windows customers running the DB2 Client 8.1 Fix Pack 9 or later. Customers running earlier versions of the DB2 Client should only install hot fixes prior to E9D205.
