Problem Note 20774: The migration macro %RMPDB2DM in SASĀ® IT Resource Management 3.1.1 fails
The performance database (PDB) migration macro %RMPDB2DM in SAS IT
Resource Management 3.1.1 might fail if the metadata server is not
active or if the metadata server does not accept connections. The
following error will appear in the SAS log:
ERROR: Tree Root for formula folder cannot be blank.
This error might also appear if the required metadata folders are not in
place. Instructions for creating these folders are in the "Load SAS IT
Resource Management Metadata" section of the instructions.html system
installation file.
To circumvent this problem, you should verify the following items:
* The metadata server has been started.
* You can connect to the metadata server.
* The metadata server has the appropriate SAS IT Resource Management
folders in place.
