To install the CGI Tools for SAS®9 SAS/IntrNet software on Microsoft 
Windows Vista(TM), follow these steps: 
 
From the SAS Software Downloads site: 
 
   1. Go to http://support.sas.com. 
   2. In the left navigation bar, click Software Downloads. 
   3. Under SAS System Software Products, click SAS/IntrNet 
      Software. 
   4. Under 'For SAS 9.1.3', click 'CGI Tools for Release 9.1.3 
SAS/IntrNet Software'.

   5. In the CGI Tools for SAS System 9 SAS/IntrNet Software 
      Packages table, click README for the Windows operating system and 
      print or save this file. 
   6. Click Back in the toolbar. 
   7. In the CGI Tools for SAS system 9. SAS/IntrNet Software Packages 
      table, click the Request Download button for the Windows operating 
      system. 
   8. Register in the Login area. 
   8. Run or save the setup file and follow the directions from step 5. 
 
 
* From the SAS Client-Side Components CD: 
 
   1. Insert the CD labeled "SAS Client-side Components Volume 3". 
   2. If you have Windows autorun turned on, click Cancel when the 
      Choose Language dialog box displays. 
   3. Click Start--&gtRun and point to 
      &ltCD-ROM drive>:client21cdcgitoolsSetup_Win32.exe. 
   4. Click Open and click OK. 
   5. Click Next when the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for 
      SAS/Intrnet CGI Tools window appears. 
   6. Read the License Agreement and click Yes. 
   7. In the Setup Type window, leave the the default button set to 
      Typical and click Next. 
   8. Choose the path for the /sasweb URL (for example, 
      c:inetpubwwwrootsasweb) and click Next. 
   9. If you get a prompt that says 'This folder does not exist. Should 
      Setup create it for you?', click Yes. 
  10. Choose the path for the CGI executables and click Next. For 
      example, for the Microsoft IIS Web server the path might be 
      c:inetpubscripts. 
  11. Enter the URL for the CGI executables (for example, 
      http://[YourServer]/scripts), which matches the physical 
      directory that you just entered. 
  12. Review the settings before you copy files and click Next. 
      The CGI files will then be copied to the paths chosen. 
  13. Once the installation is complete, click Finish. 
 
This will install the following products: 
 
   * Application Dispatcher components 
     - Application Broker 
     - Load Manager 
     - Samples 
   * Xplore Sample Application 
   * MDDB Report Viewer 
   * htmSQL 
   * Tunnel Feature Server Programs for Java Tools 
   * Java Graphics components
