When creating a SAS BI Dashboard in the SAS Information Delivery Portal, every viewed dashboard portlet leaves a temporary file in the folder defined by the java.io.tmpdir environment variable. These files accumulate and can become a performance problem. Eventually this can cause your application server to fail if disk space is exceeded.
