Usage Note 18692: LOADXLS spreadsheet load command is failing with ClassNotFound exception
This issue applies to SAS® OpRisk Monitor 3.3 spreadsheet load command
loadxls.bat and loadxls.sh.
SAS OpRisk Monitor data can be loaded from a CSV file, and from an Excel
spreadsheet (XLS file).
A necessary jar file for spreadsheet loading is missing. It is
poi-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar.
This jar file is correctly in the Web Application already. This only
applies to the data administration component that has the dataload batch
scripts.
To know if you have this problem, go into the database administration
directory that matters to your version (Oracle9, or PostgreSQL for
example). Run the addxlsdata.cmd (Windows) or addxlsdata.sh (UNIX)
script.
The script will fail with a ClassNotFound exception.
To resolve this situation, install SAS OpRisk Monitor hotfix 33ORM01.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
