When performing a query in SAS Information Map Studio, unexpected results may appear if the OLAP query includes a relative time filter range. This is the result of the filter actually being a range filter with fixed values, even though it was defined as a range filter with relative values.
The problem is most likely to occur if "The first period" and "The last period" have been selected for starting and ending periods for the Date Range selections. The "first" and "last" periods applied to the filter will be static date/time values from when the filter was created. For example, if the first value in the cube changes at some point after the filter is created, the filter will not begin on the new "first" value, but will always begin on the "first" value at the time of filter creation.
