Problem Note 15671: "Sending failed" exception when testing static broadcasts within SAS
Email Marketing
Using a SMTP e-mail server to authenticate a broadcast log in produces
an exception stating that the 'sending' failed.
The failure occurs because the authenticator is not passed down to the
mail session.
A work around is to define a dynamic broadcast and select no links to
track which in effect results in a static broadcast.
When the error occurs, output similar to the following appears:
[NOTE@2005-06-24 10:01:10.16] ??“Broadcast_1119578470110????
