Problem Note 15023: Error occurs when attempting to perform an Undo Check Out on an object
in a Project metadata repository
SAS ETL Studio may generate an error dialog with the following message
when attempting to perform an Undo Check Out on an object in a Project
metadata repository:
Error undoing check out of
metadata:com.sas.metadata.MdException
When this occurs the object remains checked out.
This error surfaces under the following circumstances:
1. An ETL Job is checked out into a Project metadata repository.
2. A table that was not initially associated with the ETL Job is checked
out into the same Project metadata repository during a separate checkout
process.
3. The unassociated table is added to the checked out ETL Job and the
job is saved in the Project metadata repository.
4. An attempt is made to Undo the Check Out on the ETL Job and this
results in the error.
