Usage Note 14456: Descriptions of user prompts in the SAS Human Capital Management Query facility are not displayed

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
In SAS Human Capital Management 3.1 (HCM, HRV, HR Vision) the Query tool
allows for the creation of user prompts. When a user prompt is created,
it is given a tag name of UPxxxxxx where xxxxxx is a randomly generated
number. From that point on, the user prompt is only identifiable by
the tag name.

With the release of 3.1.0.5, when selecting User Prompts from the Value
Chooser window, both the tag number and the description are displayed.
The value chooser window can be accessed with the following steps:

1) Create a query having selected several columns.
2) Use the 'Add Filters' page to create a filter. Use the ellipse on the
page to select or create a User Prompt.
3) Click on the radio box, "User prompts". It is in this list of User
Prompts that you will see the UPxxxxxx tag placed before the
   Description of the User Prompt.

Additionally, a new JSP named UserPromptList.jsp will generate a list of
the User Prompts created for a particular warehouse. This JSP can be
accessed with the following URL:

   http://<HCM>/Jsp/UserPromptList.jsp

where <HCM> is a reference to an installation. If necessary, this JSP
will present a login screen to login to a SAS Human Capital Management
warehouse. If desired, the system administrator can choose to set up
this URL in a new analytic.
