Problem Note 14091: Stored Process Server connections remain after closing client application

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
Stored Process Server connections may be left open after closing a
client application such as Enterprise Guide, Information Delivery
Portal, etc. The open Stored Process Servers may prevent additional
stored processes from executing.

The following error may be encountered in Enterprise Guide:

An error occurred executing the stored process job "stored process
name". The spawner was unable to redirect the client request
   "request id" ASStoredProcess.StoredProcessServer/1/0SASMAIN- Stored
   Process ServerDefaultAuth2828

The Information Delivery Portal log will contain the following error:

   com.sas.apps.citation.view.beans.report.controller.ReportControl
   Exception:
   Initialization Error [
   com.sas.apps.citation.model.report.RendererException: Initialization
   Error [ com.sas.report.render.models.ReportModelException:
   Storedprocessdid not run successfully!
   [ java.lang.IllegalStateException ] ] ]

The Object Spawner log file will contain the following messages.

ERROR: The Balance algorithm timed out before a server could be
            found.
WARNING: The load balancing instance ldblCompRefDirectConnection
            call failed.
WARNING: Unable to redirect the client request.

To circumvent the problem, close all open Stored Process Server
connections and retry the client application.

To correct the problem, install the latest Integration Technologies
Client for Windows (inttech.exe) module on the machine where the
Enterprise Guide client is installed. The inttech.exe module can be
found at the following location:

SAS Integration Technologies Client for Windows(Release 9.1)
Login and request the download for the inttech.exe module.
