Problem Note 13892: Campaign Studio exception using dynamic cell in diagram
If a link node is linked to a dynamic cell, you may receive an exception
error including the following:
com.sas.analytics.crm.error.client.CodingException: Unknown node
state in getWorstAncestorState():4
at com.sas.analytics.crm.flow.ejb.MANode.getWorstAncestorState
(MANode.java:1632)
An example of this condition is:
- Create 2 select nodes (gender = female, deceased = no)
- Hook the 1st select node to a cell node
- Make the cell a dynamic cell and update counts on it
- Hook the cell to an AND node
- Hook the 2nd select to the AND node
The error message shown above will only occur if a node with
multiple inputs (AND, OR, Communication) has a dynamic cell or link
node hooked to a dynamic cell as its first input.
The workaround, if the node with multiple inputs has at least one input
that is not a dynamic cell/link to dynamic cell, is to make that input
the first one to the multi-input node.
