Usage Note 13144: Security warning messages when installing Java SDK on Windows XP SP2
When you install Java SDK on a Windows XP where Service Pack 2 has been
applied, the following warning message appears:
The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to
run this software:
Name: jdk2sk-1_4_02_windows-i586-p-iftw.exe
Publisher: Unknown publisher
This message appears because the Java setup.exe does not have a
digital signature. The Microsoft help associated with this warning
indicates that these should not be applied. This message can be ignored.
