Usage Note 12489: ETL Studio documentation points to non-existent SAS Management Console
Plug-in directions
The ETL Studio documentation states that SAS Management console
plug-ins are similar to plug-ins for ETL Studio. The documentation
includes an active link pointing to "Guide to Building SAS Management
Console Plug-ins" that is provided on the SAS Management Console
Installation CD.
The section referenced does not appear in the Management Console
Installation CD.
The "Guide to Building SAS Management Console Plug-ins" used to be on
the Client-Side Components CD, but was removed once SAS started
delivering it with the SAS Management Console install. It is installed
with the SAS Management Console on your machine as part of a doc.zip
file. The guide also contains links to the API.
Here is the default location of the doc.zip file:
