Problem Note 11679: Cell Splits do not return the requested counts
If you run a cell split in the SAS Campaign Management component, the
application may not return the counts you requested. For example, if
you set up a cell split by COUNT, and request the 'Use Random Number
Function' technique, then specify a fixed count for each cell, the
counts that are created when the cell split executes do not match the
counts you specified. This problem occurs when the key field in the
table you are splitting is defined as a numeric integer field with a
length greater than or equal to 16.
For SAS and SPD Server datamarts, a Technical Support hot fix for this
issue is available at:
http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/cam75.html
You must also add a new entry to the ISMCONFIG table,
EnableHighPrecisionCells, and set the value to YES. This entry is only
available for SAS and SPD Server environments.
