Problem Note 10220: Errors regarding the number of open and close brackets occur when
running an imported selection rule
If you create a selection rule definition which contains brackets in the
SAS Campaign Management component, then export the definition, when you
then import the same definition the closing bracket is misplaced.
For example, if you define the following selection rule:
Select Clients where (Age > 50
or Gender = M)
Then click on File -> Export to File to export the rule. Next, click on
File -> Import from File and select your saved definition. When you run
the definition, you get the following error:
The number of Open brackets in the previous set is greater than the
number of Close brackets
There must be equal numbers of Open and Close brackets in any set.
If you inspect the rule carefully, you will see that the closing bracket
has been moved to the Projected Range column at the end of the line,
preventing the selection rule parser from recognizing it.
To workaround the problem, move the bracket back to its correct
position.
