To keep pace with changes to third-party technologies, SAS has adopted a general policy of supporting one or more baseline major versions, subsequent minor updates, and subsequent major versions for each officially supported operating system. Only the supported baseline major versions are listed in this document. As part of this policy, SAS strongly encourages customers to install the latest operating-system service packs.
SAS High-Performance Forecasting Server requires Base SAS. It also requires SAS Forecast Server, which is separately licensed.
SAS High-Performance Forecasting Server includes one of the following SAS/ACCESS products:
SAS/ACCESS to Hadoop requires SAS LASR Analytic Server, Distributed mode.
SAS High-Performance Analytics Server requires Greenplum, Teradata (appliance obtained from vendor), or Hadoop (commodity hardware). A corresponding SAS/ACCESS engine is required (and is included with the SAS High-Performance Forecasting Server).
Use of a co-located Hadoop File System (HDFS) is optional, but it requires a supported Hadoop environment and SAS Plug-ins for Hadoop (which are included with your license). The plug-ins require additional configuration.
