SAS Credit Scoring for Banking combines risk data management, data mining, and reporting capabilities in an integrated solution for developing, validating, and monitoring credit scorecards in house.
SAS Credit Scoring for Banking Server includes three standard SAS/ACCESS Engines:
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata must be explicitly selected in the order if you plan to host solution data on Teradata.
SAS Scoring Accelerator for Teradata is optional and is not included.
A specific integration option is available for Teradata. If you choose to license SAS Scoring Accelerator for Teradata separately, you can select Teradata as one of the two included ACCESS Engines of choice or license it separately as a third ACCESS Engine.
SAS Data Integration Server includes a SAS Data Integration Server subcomponent, which is available in other offerings. For information about the applicable system requirements, review the separate System Requirements document.
Install the SAS Data Integration Server on the same computer as the SAS Credit Scoring for Banking Server, or on a separate computer.
SAS Data Integration Server includes two standard SAS/ACCESS Engines of choice. It also includes three SAS Metadata Bridges of choice, plus General Industry Standards, which is included automatically.
SAS Enterprise BI Server includes the SAS Enterprise BI Server subcomponent, which is also available in other offerings. For information about the applicable system requirements, review the separate System Requirements document.
Install the SAS Enterprise BI Server on the same computer as the SAS Credit Scoring for Banking Server, or on a separate computer.
SAS OLAP Server includes a SAS OLAP Server subcomponent, which is also available in other offerings. For information about the applicable system requirements, review the separate System Requirements document.
Install the SAS OLAP Server on the same computer as the SAS Credit Scoring for Banking Server, or on a separate computer.
We recommend installing the Visual Analytics Administration and Reporting Server on a separate machine.
The Visual Analytics Administration and Reporting Server includes one standard SAS/ACCESS engine of choice for transaction data. It must be the same as the engine that you selected for the SAS Credit Scoring for Banking Server.
Apache Hadoop software is distributed with SAS software as a convenience. For support information, see http://support.sas.com/resources/thirdpartysupport/ApacheHadoopSupport.html.
SAS makes the following recommendations for SAS Metadata Server deployments:
The disk I/O performance of any server-class system should be sufficient. Memory requirements are highly dependent on the product mix and usage, but 8 GB of RAM are sufficient for most large deployments. For many deployments, 4 GB of RAM are sufficient and should be considered a minimum, unless the specific deployment is tested and verified to require less memory.
When you install your SAS solution software, SAS Deployment Manager installs and configures the required web application servers and web servers.
To install these servers, select one of the supported operating systems for the middle tier.
Note: These servers cannot be installed on the z/OS or 32-bit Windows platforms.
We recommend installing the Visual Analytics Administration and Reporting Server Mid-Tier on a separate machine.
For the best user experience, the recommended screen resolution on client machines is 1280 x 1024.
SAS Visual Analytics Mobile Clients (SAS Mobile BI) is available for the Apple iPad and Android tablets via free downloads from app stores.
The list of web browsers that SAS supports is updated as new software is tested and approved. For the latest information, click the link for Web Browsers and Plug-Ins on the following page: http://support.sas.com/resources/thirdpartysupport/index.html.
