new features and enhancements in each SAS 9.2 release. Because these
releases are cumulative, each SAS 9.2 release incorporates the functionality
that was introduced in an earlier release. Each SAS release is identified

Third Maintenance Release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M3)
The
third maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) was released in May
2010. The third maintenance release includes all updates from the
first and second maintenance releases for SAS 9.2.
Highlights of the third
maintenance release include the following:
migration across platforms within
the same family of operating systems. For example, you can migrate
content from one version of Windows to any other version of Windows.
the ability to change the host
names (including the network domains) of server machines in your deployment.

use of the SAS Deployment Wizard
to install a subset of the products that are licensed at your site.
This functionality helps reduce the number of products that are installed
on a given machine. This functionality is not available for planned

software, such as Firefox 3.6, the Platform Suite for SAS Version

Also, you can now run
Oracle WebLogic Administration Server and Oracle WebLogic Managed
Server as Windows services. For more information, see “Running

release for SAS 9.2. When you apply the third maintenance release
for SAS 9.2, these products are updated to SAS/ETS 9.22, SAS/OR 9.22,

Second Maintenance Release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M2)
The second
maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M2) was released in September
2009. The second maintenance release includes all the updates from
the first maintenance release.
Highlights of the second
maintenance release include the following:
updates for Base SAS, the SAS Intelligence
Platform products, and the SAS Enterprise tools and clients.
increased product stability.
enhanced security options within
OLAP cubes.
expanded support in SAS/ACCESS
for Relational Databases to include SQL Pass-Through. Also, new SAS/ACCESS
engines for Greenplum and Sybase IQ were added.

systems, such as Windows Server 2008.

First Maintenance Release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M1)
The first maintenance release for SAS 9.2 was released
in June 2009. This release includes localized Help (in several languages)
for the SAS Intelligence Platform products and SAS Enterprise clients.
No hot fixes for SAS
products were included in the first maintenance release.
SAS 9.2 (TS2M0)
The second release for
SAS 9.2 was released in March 2009. It consisted of an update to the
technologies in the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform.
SAS 9.2 (TS1M0)
The initial release
of SAS 9.2 consisted of new Base SAS capabilities, updated statistical
methods, analytical procedures and graphing capabilities, the introduction
of SAS Stat Studio, and enhancements to the core visualization technologies.
