The Project Information window is initially displayed when a project is opened for read or update. The access control level is indicated in the window title. In this window, you can edit the project name and description as well as access windows for specifying project data and producing reports.
The Name field is used to specify the name of the project. Project names must be unique. A longer description can be given in the Description field.
The Description field is provided to give the opportunity for storing a short description of the project. A description is purely optional and is used for identification purposes only.
When this button is clicked, the PM window (an interactive Gantt Chart provided by the PM procedure) displays the current project structure and schedule. Within this window, activities can be added and deleted and corresponding data can be modified.
This button is used to access a window for setting project scheduling options, as well as a window for adding variables to the Activity data set.
When this button is clicked, the Calendars window is opened.
When this button is clicked, the Holidays window is opened.
When this button is clicked, the Resources window is opened.
When this button is clicked, the Workshifts window is opened.
When this button is clicked, the Reports window is opened.
When this button is clicked, the Project Schedule Summary window is opened.
If you click the Save button, the current project is saved.
If you click the Save As button, the current project can be saved under a different name.
When this button is clicked, the current project is closed. You are prompted to save changes if the project was opened with update access and modified.
