When you log on to the portal, your personal portal
appears. You can modify this view of the portal according to your
individual preferences and need for information. When you make these
modifications, you are personalizing the portal.
Note: Most
personalization tasks are performed by using the portal's
Options menu.

add pages:

create a new page and
add it to your personal portal.

add a predefined page.
This is a page that is publicly available, a page that has been shared
with a group of users to which you belong, or a page that you previously
created.

edit pages:

edit the contents of
a page by changing the page layout and adding, removing, or changing
the position of portlets.

create portlets and add them to
a page:

to a page. A predefined portlet is a portlet that is publicly available,
or that has been shared with a group of users to which you belong.
It can also be a portlet that you previously created.

create other content as links:

create a new link to
a site on the Web, your local intranet, or any location that has a
URL, and add the link to a collection portlet.

remove pages or portlets that you
no longer need:

including the language and country setting and the theme.

You can
also personalize your portal by modifying certain types of portlets.
To do so, use the Edit Properties icon

in the portlet's title bar.
