You can edit the contents of the portlet. For example, you can specify the content items to be listed in a collection portlet. You can also specify whether each item's description and location are displayed.
You can edit any portlet that you created yourself. If you are a content administrator for a group, then you can also edit portlets that have been shared with the group. (The word Shared in the title bar indicates that a portlet has been shared.)
The following types of portlets can be edited:
  • collection portlets
  • information map viewer portlets
  • WebDAV content portlets
  • WebDAV graph portlets
  • WevDAV navigator portlets
  • URL display portlets
  • Bookmarks portlets (contents only, not properties)
Depending on the software that is installed at your site, the portal might contain other portlet types that you can edit.
