Working with SAS/EIS Metabase Entries

When Xplore determines that your selection is a SAS/EIS metabase, then

• if you have Version 1.2 of the MDDB Report Viewer, Xplore's right frame displays the SAS/EIS Metabase Viewer, which contains a list of registered MDDBs and data sets.

  

  From that list,

  • if you select a data set, then Xplore's right frame displays the dialog for data sets.

  • if you select an MDDB, then Xplore's right frame displays the MDDB Report Viewer. For usage information, see the documentation for Version 1.2 of the MDDB Report Viewer.

• if you have Version 1.0 of the MDDB Report Viewer, Xplore's right frame displays a dialog that contains a list of registered MDDBs. When you select an MDDB, Xplore's right frame displays Version 1.0 of the MDDB Report Viewer.

  Note: For greater functionality, we recommend Version 1.2 of the MDDB Report Viewer.
