Beginning with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.1, clinical components can be enabled or disabled via the clinical.features.enabled configuration option.
This configuration option accepts a value of either True or False. A True value equates to enabling clinical components, and a False value equates to disabling clinical components.
Note: The default setting for clinical components in 5.4.1 is False (disabled).
When clinical components are in a disabled state, they are not accessible in the application user interface.
In addition, the global Manage Standards privilege and the scoped Manage Study privilege are both inaccessible if clinical components are disabled. In this scenario, these privileges do not appear in any privilege-related lists and are not available to assign to roles and user accounts.
