Problem Note 69479: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4 - Accessing the application via Single Sign-on (SSO) might produce the "HTTP 401 - Unauthorized" message

If your site has enabled SSO for use with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4, it is possible to receive an "HTTP 401 Error - Unauthorized" message if a previous session has timed out.
The behavior occurs if you do the following:
- Log on using SSO.
- Wait until the authentication provider's time-out period has been exceeded.
- Attempt to log on once again when prompted enter your credentials. The HTTP 401 Error message appears.
A workaround exists in SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4 that involves a configuration change, specifically setting maxAuthenticationAge to one year (31,536,000 seconds). The configuration change can be requested by partnering with your Hosting Tech Lead.
The configuration change has been incorporated permanently beginning with SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.1.
