If you declare a SAS Micro Analytic Service data grid column to be of type DECIMAL in the grid's metadata, you can call the APPEND() function with this data grid to add a headless data grid.

However, when the corresponding column in the headless data grid contains an integer value for the decimal column, the decimal column uses a value of 0 instead of the the integer value.
