SAS® Data Connector to Impala in SAS Viya might run slowly or generate an error if multiple nodes are engaged or SYNC_DLL is used. In this scenario, you encounter an error similar to the following:

When you use parallel loading to Impala, it might run slower than serial loading or generate an analysis exception error. The problem is especially likely to occur when you use SYNC_DLL. The hot fix addresses several issues and enables bulk loading with Impala as well.
