Problem Note 56899: The Validate Expression action fails and incorrectly reports an invalid expression in File Reader and File Writer transformations
When you click Validate Expression in the Advanced window of an expression on the Mappings tab of either the File Reader or File Writer transformation, the following message appears:
This error occurs even if the expression should have passed validation.

When you attempt to validate an expression on the Mappings tab of a File Reader transformation or a File Writer transformation in SAS® Data Integration Studio, an invalid expression is reported even if the expression is valid.
