If a link in SAS Strategy Management is defined with the link target set to New window, you might find that selecting an icon associated with the link definition opens the link target in the same window, not a new window or new tab. This problem is specific to Icons, as you might notice clicking a metric attribute value with an associated link results in the link target opening in a new window.
For example, if you click 87% (the Actual value for Customer Retention Rate), a new window or tab would, as expected, open for the link target, either a web page or external document. But if you select the (the Icon arrow for Customer Retention Rate), the link target would open in the same window.
If you use SAS Strategy Management 5.5, contact SAS Technical Support to request a fix for this issue.
