Problem Note 54740: Web links in e-mail content do not work if the links contain the character entity reference for the & character

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you edit HTML e-mail content in either SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio or SAS® Digital Marketing Studio, you can include a link to a web page with the same HTML content for recipients who cannot view images in their e-mail reader.

If that link includes the encoded value of the ampersand (&) character, which is &, the web version of the e-mail might not render when the recipient receives the e-mail and clicks the link. When this problem occurs, the recipient might receive a message in his or her browser that says that the content cannot be displayed.

In addition, when the e-mail recipient attempts to display the web version of the e-mail, overall performance in SAS Digital Marketing solution might be affected detrimentally.
