Installation Note 50634: Introduction to the SAS® Operational Qualification Tool
The SAS Operational Qualification Tool runs tests on all of the SAS® Foundation products that you have licensed and installed, such as the Base SAS® software, SAS/GRAPH® software, SAS/STAT® software, and so on.
The SAS Operational Qualification Tool can be found in the following locations.
On SAS® 9.2
- Select Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► SAS 9.2 License Renewal and Utilities ► SAS Operational Qualification Tool.
On SAS® 9.3
- Select Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► Utilities ► SAS Operational Qualification Tool.
On SAS® 9.4
- Select Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► Utilities ► SAS Operational Qualification Tool.
Note: Under Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro, and Windows 8 Enterprise, you can access the Operational Qualification Tool from Start Screen ► SAS 9.x Operational Qualification Tool.
Running the SAS Operational Qualification Tool
You can run individual tests on one or more of the SAS Foundation products, but you need to use command-line options to do that. For specifics, see the SAS Operational Qualification Tool documentation listed below.
When you run the SAS Operational Qualification tool, a DOS prompt appears:
Here, you enter a location to place the results of the current run of the SAS Operational Qualification Tool:
The SAS Operational Qualification Tool creates reports and logs in the location that you specified in the DOS prompt:
Logs are created for each SAS Foundation product that you have licensed and installed. The logs for the SAS/STAT product are listed below:
