Problem Note 45217: Amending campaign details between occurrences of a SAS® Marketing Automation campaign might lead to corruption of the Common Data Model

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Marketing Automation, a campaign can be scheduled to run at intervals. However, amending the details of a campaign between these campaign occurrences might corrupt the data that is held in the Common Data Model.

In particular, the CI_CELL_PACKAGE, the CELL_PACKAGE_SK, and the CI_CONTACT_HISTORY tables might not be fully populated with all the data for all campaign occurrences. This might lead to incorrect results from your reports that reference these tables.

There are no errors or warnings to indicate a problem.

To work around this problem, manually publish the campaign after you make amendments and before you execute the next occurrence. See the guidelines in SAS Note 44213, "Publishing a campaign might cause the errors 'Transact error: Unable to commit..' or 'Cannot Insert Null..'" for more details.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
