Problem Note 41397: Published child reports are incorrect after refreshing a data mart

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The data selection for a child report changes when a copy of the data selection for the parent report is modified. The problem occurs because the check for separating the parent and child data selections is incorrect.

The following example explains how this problem occurs:

  1. Create a new data selection in the Data Selection Workspace.
  2. In the Project workspace, add a Pareto Analysis using the new data selection.
  3. Add a Subset Analysis from the Pareto Analysis.
  4. Save the Subset Analysis.
  5. Publish the report with Auto Update enabled.
  6. Make a copy of the data selection.
  7. Modify the copy of the data selection.
  8. Publish the Subset Analysis from the Pareto Analysis using the Auto Update function.
  9. The data mart refreshes and the reports update.
  10. Both published reports are the same even though the analyses are different in the Project Workspace.
