Problem Note 38081: An exception error might occur when you update counts in a campaign's Communication node or Link node

When updating counts on the Communication node or Link node in a campaign, you might receive a stored process error or a remote exception error. An error message similar to the following is displayed:
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.rmi.RemoteException.
These errors can occur when the following conditions are met: In the target diagram, you update counts, and then save and close the diagram. Then, in the campaign, you link to the target cell, update counts on the Communication node, and save the campaign. After reopening the campaign, if you do one of the following, an error occurs:
- If you update counts on the Communication node, then a stored process exception occurs.
- If from within the Properties dialog box you update counts on the Link node, then the remote exception error that is shown above occurs.
