Problem Note 30990: SAS® Campaign Studio encountered a problem error when using an or node set to "Meets any conditions defined by input node"

SAS Campaign Studio might generate an error when joining two select nodes with an or node and using the "Meets any conditions defined by input nodes" criteria within it.
This problem is intermittent and manifests itself by presenting the user with the following message:
Campaign Studio has encountered a problem. Save all campaigns and diagrams. If Campaign Studio does not respond contact your system administrator.
It also produces errors similar to the following in the macore.log:
