Problem Note 30564: Poor SAS® Campaign Studio OR node performance occurs against DB2

SAS® Marketing Automation 4.4 generates different SQL code than does the SAS Marketing Automation 4.3 when using the OR node in diagrams.
When the meets any conditions defined by input nodes type is chosen in an OR node, the underlying SQL statement uses a UNION/IN statement instead of an OR statement (SAS Marketing Automation 4.3 uses an OR statement).
The union queries are performing poorly in DB2 compared to using the OR method. When this happens, queries can to take up to three times longer to execute.
