Problem Note 21042: A Cancel can cause an Application Error when changing input data in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
Steps similar to the following will result in an Application Error when
using SAS Enterprise Guide:
1. Open a PC file as is or by using the Import Data task.
2. Right-click on the PC file's data icon and choose Properties.
3. Click on Change.
4. Select a Microsoft Excel file and click Open.
5. Select a sheet when prompted, then click Cancel.
At this point an Application Error is generated.
In the window of the Application Error, you can choose Continue to
return processing back to SAS Enterprise Guide.
