Problem Note 16418: PROC SYNCSORT for SAS 9.1 can result in user INFORMATs being truncated

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
User defined informats associated with SAS datasets may be truncated
when processed through PROC SYNCSORT in SAS 9.1.

The following ERROR is written to the SAS Log:

ERROR: INFORMAT $NOT WAS NOT FOUND OR COULD NOT BE LOADED

This has been seen most commonly when using a dataset created by MXG
prior to 22.08. At 22.08 of MXG this is not an issue because the
INFORMAT statements have been removed.

A fix for SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) for this issue is available at:

http://www.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/e9_sbcs_prod_list.html#016418

For customers running SAS with Asian Language Support (DBCS), this
fix should be downloaded from:
