Problem Note 16138: Importing diagram with split on data item fails with NullPointerException

A diagram containing a split node that uses the data item split technique can be successfully extracted but it is not possible to re-import (or promote) this diagram. A NullPointerException will be observed in the log.
This problem exists for both stand-alone diagrams and diagrams that are part of a campaign.
The work-around is to use split-on-previous, or to manually remove the split node before promotion and add it back in after it has been successfully imported.
