The first client to open a cube on a SAS® OLAP Server will cause the server to load all global calculated members and named sets for that cube. These are then made available for subsequent client connections. However, if the first user lacks Read Metadata permissions to a calculated member (or named set), that item will not be loaded from metadata and subsequent connections will not have access. Refreshing the cube will restore the access.
