Use the
New Server Wizard to register metadata about an SAP server. An SAP
server must be defined before you can use any of the plug-ins that
are available with SAS Data Surveyor for SAP. A configured SAP server
stores metadata about the machine on which your SAP R/3 System or
SAP BW System is running and the connection information that is required
to access the data that is stored in your SAP System. This information
enables you to connect to and extract data and metadata from your
SAP systems.
Note: You must register
metadata for each SAP server.
You can
start the New Server Wizard from the Server Manager in SAS Management
Console.
